매체 언어 교육의 현황과 과제

Status and Problems of Media language Education

오늘날의 의사소통과 문화 향유가 다중 매체와 대중 매체를 중심으로 이뤄짐에 따라 국어교육도 이에 맞게 변화되고 있다. 이에 본고는 새로 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정이 고시된 현 시점에서 국어교육에서 매체 언어 교육이 그동안 어떻게 진행되어 왔는지, 그리고 현재 어떠한 위상을 가지고 있는지를 교육과정, 교과서, 교수·학습 방법, 평가 등 여러 가지 측면에서 그 실태를 알아보았다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 향후 매체 언어 교육이 더욱 바람직하게 이뤄지기 위해서 해결해야 할 과제는 무엇인지 찾아보고 그 개선 방향을 제언해 보았다. 그 결과, 본고는 현행 매체 언어 교육의 문제점으로 매체 언어 교육에 관한 개념과 범주에 대한 혼란, 교원 양성 과정의 부실, 교육과정과 교과서에서 발견되는 문제점, 평가의 어려움 등을 논의하였다. 또한 이를 해결하기 위한 개선 방향으로 첫째, 매체 언어 교육 연구의 활성화, 둘째, 교육과정 및 교과서의 전문화, 셋째, 다른 과목 및 학교 밖 교육 프로그램과의 연계성 강화, 넷째, 매체 언어 교육 전문 기구의 설치 등을 제안하였다.

Today’s communication and enjoyment of culture is mainly used for multi media and mass media. Therefore, Korean education has been changed accordingly. At this time, 2015 revision Korean curriculum has been announced. This paper examined that how media language education was done in Korean education, and what is it’s current location and status, through the curriculum, textbooks, teaching methods, assessment, etc. And this paper explored what challenges need to be addressed in the future to become media language education and more preferably the progress of the proposal was to improve orientation. As a result, this paper has discussed the issue, such as confusion on concepts and categories of media language education, nonperforming of teacher training courses, problems found in the curriculum and textbooks, the difficulty of evaluation, etc. in the current issue of media language education. In addition to the improvement direction for resolving them were the following suggestions: First, activate the media language education and research, second, curriculum and textbooks specialization, third, strengthening linkages other subjects outside of school educational programs, Fourth, the installation of media language education organizations.
