We can reduce the date size for speech synthesis by using speech parameter for male in place of speech parameter for female. We translate the speech parameter from the point that female speaker is shorter than male in vocal tract length, so resonant fregvency of female speaker is higher than male. We introduce the MEL frequency scale and normalize the speech parameter using MEL fraquency scale.
