실과 교과서 ‘간단한 전자 회로 꾸미기’ 단원의 활동과제 분석

Analysis on the Practical Activities of Assembling Electronic Circuits Unit in the Practical Arts Textbook

이 연구는 ‘간단한 전자 회로 꾸미기’ 단원 활동과제의 장단점을 분석하여 향후 활동과제 개발방향과 현장 지도를 위한 시사점을 얻기 위하여 수행되었다. 이 연구는 내용 분석법으로 수행되었으며, 분석 대상은 2007 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교실과 6학년 교과서 7종의 ‘간단한 전자 회로 꾸미기’ 단원이다. 분석에는 A교육대학교 실과교육과 학생 28명이 참여하였다. 교과서 내용 분석의 분석 항목은 ‘간단한 전자 회로 꾸미기’ 단원 전체의 구성, 활동 과제의 수준 적합성, 실습 활동 안내의 충실성, 교육적 효과성의 네 개로 구성되며, 각 항목별 장단점을 구분하여 분석하였다. 이 연구의 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 단원 전체 구성은 도입, 전개, 정리, 평가의 단계가 전반적으로 구성되었으나, 내용 설명이 지나치게 간략한 점, 능동적·창의적 실습활동 전개가 부족한 점, 실용적인 실습 소재의 구성이 부족한 점 등이 지적되었다. 둘째, 활동과제의 수준 적합성에 대한 의견은 실체도를 보고 그대로 따라서 조립하는 활동으로 만족한다면 적합한 수준이지만, 전자 회로도에 대한 이해 과정이 생략되어 이해하기가 어려운 높은 수준이라는 의견이 있었다. 또한 커넥터 블록을 이용한 전자 회로 꾸미기 활동 과제가 초등학교 6학년 수준에 적합하다는 의견이 있었다. 셋째, 실습 활동 안내 충실성은 전반적으로 실습을 진행하는 데에는 큰 문제점이 없다고 보았으나, 전자 회로 원리에 대한 설명이 부족 한 점, 전자 부품을 연결하는 상세한 안내가 부족한 점, 각 실습 단계별로 구체적인 설명이 부족한 점, 실습 순서를 소개하는 사진이 너무 간략하게 제시된 점 등이 단점으로 지적되었다. 넷째, 교육적 효과성은 전기·전자 제품에 대한 경험을 통해 관심을 갖게 되고 성취감을 느낄 수 있다는 측면에서 긍정적인 의견이 있었다. 그러나 전자 회로의 원리에 대한 이해 부족, 정해진 순서와 방법에 따른 단순 조립 활동으로 사고력 신장에 제한적이라는 점 등이 단점으로 지적되었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the directions for developing practical activities through analyzing on the ‘assembling electronic circuits unit in the practical arts textbook. To perform this study, context analysis method was used on the ‘assembling electronic circuits unit in 7 textbooks of practical art subject of 6th grade. The points of analysis were structure of unit, difficulty of activity, fidelity of activity guidance, and educational effectiveness. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the structure of ‘assembling electronic circuits unit in 7 textbooks was well-structured with introduction, development, arrangement, and evaluation step. But there were some problems as lack of explanation, creative activity and practical subject matter. Second, the difficulty of activities of ‘assembling electronic circuits unit in 7 textbooks was suitable in the point of view assembling electronic circuits as itself. But it was too difficult in the point of view understanding electronic circuits. Third, the fidelity of activity guidance of ‘assembling electronic circuits unit in 7 textbooks was proper level to student. But there were some problems as lack of explanation in principle of electronic circuits and lack of explanation in procedure & method of practical exercise. Fourth, the educational effectiveness of ‘assembling electronic circuits unit in 7 textbooks were positive in the point of view as interested in electronic stuff and sense of accomplishment. But there were negative opinions as lack of understanding about electronic circuits and limit of developing thinking skill.
