A Study on Anti-bureaucratic Orgonization Theory

The purpose of this thesis is to examine critically the Antibureaucratic organization theory substituting for the bureaucracy to be the frame of modern organizational society by limiting it within only the way of approach. The characteristics of this thesis is focused consistently in the critical angle dealt with the subject. Notwithstanding, it consists in that the conclusion has been led by making use of view of literature that has been studied in the western countries, and the theoretical search and systimatization has been made since.Namely, in order to achieve the purpose of this study:First, I have examined the theoretical supporting and its characteristics of anti-bureaucratic organization theory: Secondly, I have attempted to analyze and criticize the anti-bureaucratic organization theory by limiting it within the way of approach. Accordingly, by this way, I have attempted to evaluate generally the discussion on the anti-bureaucratic organization theory. Consequently, I could not but indicate the points at issue as followings; First : The Is sue af Approach The anti-bureaucratic organization theory is stating the theory of changing organization by limiting it within the variable of human, which the uni versa! propriety of it judging from the normative side, democratizing and humanizing of organization is not difficult to recognize, but considering from the analytic and theoretical point can be found the limitation, for the analysis is only a means, and the aim consists surely in the colli gation. Secondly: The Issue following the practical application of organization. We know that the anti-bureaucratic organization theory is corresponded better to the non-routine and special problem than to the routine and repeated problem. On concerning with this point, even the bureaucrats have a consent. If they recognize this fact, the positive advocacy of theanti-bureaucrats who have tried to change the classical bureaucracy will have lost the universal propriety, theory is to be a necessary condition for professionalization of the problem settlement and security of responsibility, and the efforts in order to make manifest its strong point should be concentrated according to the characteristics of each organization. In view of these facts, there-examination and reinstatement of Max weber s theory on the bureaucracy is desirely required.
