The question arises as to how much mutuality is possible and desirable between tehrapist and client. The writer places Buber’s I-Thou relationship or dialogue at the center of therapy in this study. The writer would not accept that the counselor generally confines him to listening to the patient, that is to say that he is as neutral mild, colorless, self-effacing, uninterfering, and undemanding. On the other hand, the inclusion-therapy in precise sense of Buber is founded on mutuality, trust, and partnership in a common situation. The clients have developed a consistent watchfulness of their environment and great alertness regarding interpersonal experiences. Therefore, they are frequently capable of emotional eavesdropping, as it were, on other persons, including, their counselor. Accordingly, it can be imagined in the direction of seeing the healing as two way process in which both therapist and client may be helped and healed.
