植民地 時代의 師範學校 體育에 關한 考察

A Study about the physical Education of Teachers, Colleges In Colonial Era - based on the Curricwa of the pnysical education -

The author have gained the following conclusions from this study based on the curricula of the physical education for teachers. colleges; In April of 1921, the Japanese government decreed the imperial ordinance 113 of the governor-general orders, in which the over-all formulation for the physical education of the teachers, colleges (or schools) was established and the emphasis about hygiene for the purpose of increasing the physical health which was included in the 7th act showed their concern with the students, general health. In terms of curricula, gymnastics, military drill and pastime sports were in general, including the extra Yu-do and swordmanship to the boy students. The first amendment for the curricula of the teachers, colleges was in April1, 1927 by a governor-general order 8, in which the subjects of gymnastics and military drill should be taught together in order to increase students, mind and physical health. The 2nd amendment was carried by the governor-general order in May 29, 1937, in which, to prepare for the wartime, the subject of military drill was the core including gymnastics, pastime sports and (war) game. In the 3rd amendment carried in May, 1943, the imperial Japan, which was in a drawback position in the Pacific war, made the physical education as the one for wartime including the subjects of physical strength and martial arts.
