The Effects of Career-interrupted Women s Self-concept, Creative Personalities and Career Decision Self-efficacy on Their Desires to Seek Employment and Establish Businesses

여성인력의 효과적인 활용을 위해서 경력단절 여성이 노동시장으로의 재진입을 하기 위gkdu 취업의지와 욕구를 높이는 것은 중요한 일이다. 본 연구에서는 경력단절 여성의 자아개념, 창의적 성격, 진로결정 자기효능감의 각 하위요인들 간에 어떤 상관관계를 가지고 있는지, 취·창업욕구에는 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 그 연구 결과 경력단절 여성의 자아개념, 창의적 성격, 진로결정 자기효능감의 각 하위요인들 간에는 상관관계가 높았고, 그 중에서 진로계획과 문제해결이 가장 높은 상관을 보였다. 경력단절 여성의 자아개념, 창의적 성격, 진로결정 자기효능감이 취·창업 요구에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석에서는 진로결정 자기효능감이 취·창업 욕구에 가장 큰 영향이 있음이 나타났다. 따라서 여성의 고용률을 높이기 위해서는 경력단절 여성의 진로결정 자기효능감 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하겠다.

This study is aimed at analyzing interrelations among subfactors of career- interrupted women s self-concept, creative personalities and career decision self-efficacy and their effects on the employment and business startups of those women. For this purpose, a survey was conducted among 205 career-interrupted women who are receiving vocational training in institutions providing education and training programs for women. A multiple regression analysis was executed to understand interrelations among sub-factors of self-concept, creative personalities and career decision self-efficacy of those women using the results of the survey and their effects on those women s desires for employment and ambition to establish businesses. According to the analysis, there were the highest interrelations among subfactors of career-interrupted women s self-concept, creative personalities and career decision self-efficacy, between their plans for future courses and problem- solving, in particular. Regarding the effects of self-concept, creative personalities and career decision self-efficacy of those women, their career decision self-efficacy had the largest effect on their desires to seek employment and establish businesses. In order to improve women s employment rate, career-interrupted women s career decision self-efficacy should be enhanced and efforts should be made to develop related programs.
