K-12 학교 범죄예방환경개선 요소 분석에 관한 연구

A Study on the Improvement Factor of K-12 School Crime Prevention Environment

요 지 초중고등학교에서의 학생들의 안전은 가장 중요한 가치이다. 오늘날 각급 학교들은 각종 범죄에서 분리되어 있는 것이 아니며 폭력을 포함한 범죄의 현장이 되기도 한다. 이를 예방하기 위해서 각급 학교는 범죄를 환경적으로 예방하기 위한 CPTED 개선 사업을 진행하고 있다. 사업을 지원하기 위해서 교육뷰는 CPTED 시범학교 사업을 지속적으로 확대하고 있다. 효율적인 재원의 활용과 보다 체계적인 환경 개선이 이루어지기 위해서 실제로 현장에서 어떠한 CPTED 요소들이 반영되고 있는지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 CPTED 시범학교사업이 수행된 60개의 학교의 개선사업의 결과를 학교의 현황과 비교 분석하여 환경개선요소를 유형화하고 각 요소별 빈도를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 학교 현장에서 필요로 하고 있는 개선 요소의 현황을 파악하고 전반적인 흐름을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 추가적인 CPTED 환경개선사업의 정책에 반영되어 정책의 효과를 높이도록 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The safety of students at elementary, middle and high schools is the most important value in these days. Today, schools at all levels could not be separate from all kinds of crimes like school outside, and schools can be also the scene of crimes including violence. In order to prevent and reduce school crimes, schools are carrying out CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) improvement projects with government. To support the CPTED improvement project, the Ministry of Education is continuously expanding the CPTED pilot school project. It is necessary to study what CPTED factors are actually reflected in the field in order to utilize efficient financial resources and to improve the systematic environment improvement. In this study, the results of the improvement projects of 60 schools in which the CPTED pilot school project was carried out were compared with the condition of the school, and the environmental improvement factors were categorized and the adopting frequency of each factor was analyzed. Through research process, the current status of the improvement factors needed in the school field and the overall flow are analyzed. The results of this study can be utilized to enhance the effectiveness of the policy by being reflected in the policy of the subsequent CPTED environment improvement project.
