This study is a comparative study of KDP, a representative political group of the Kurdish separatist movement in Iraq based on tribalism, and PKK, a representative political group of Kurdish separatist movement in Turkey based on Marxism-Leninism, in terms of ability, efficiency, characteristics of separatist movements through guerilla mobilization of the Kurds based on political ideologies, Nationalism Tribalism, and Marxism-Leninism. The purpose of this comparative analysis of the mobilization of the two political groups of the KDP and PKK is to know the efficiency and the cause of KDP establishing the KRG in Iraq, while PKK is stagnant in Turkey, by their ideological choice of groups. Peshmerga and guerilla mobilization, with KDP as a type of tribal-mobilization and PKK as a form of ideological-mobilization, were very important factors influencing the success or failure of the two political groups. Based on tribalism, the KDP was accepted in terms of nationalism, Islam and as a form of mobilization. PKK was, based on Marxism-Leninism, denied nationalism, Islam and was a type of exclusive mobilization. The results of this research indicate that the type of mobilization of KDP based on tribalism was more effective than the type of exclusive mobilization of PKK based on Marxism-Leninism. This difference in the type of mobilization of two groups led to different results in the number of the type of internal mobilization and external mobilization. The type of tribal-mobilization, acceptive mobilization of KDP is more effective than the type of ideological-mobilization, exclusive mobilization of PKK.
