철원군 양돈농가의 경영 효율성 분석

(An Analysis of Management Efficiency for Hog Farms in Cheolwon-Gun)

This study analysed Management efficiency for the hog farms in Cheolwongun. A method of analysis is CCR model & BCC model in data envelopment analysis. A subject of Analysis is 14 hog-farms belongs to hog-farm Association in Cheolwon-gun that answered the questions. An item of analysis were selected inputs (purchase of livestock, feed cost, maintenance costs) and outputs (total income). This study estimated Technical efficiency, pure Technical efficiency, scale efficiency and analysed economies of scale about the hog-farm of non-efficiency. As the result of analysis, 50% hogfarm of total were esimated to efficient management. Among the nonefficient hog-farm, the number of Increasing Return to Scale (IRS)-type was analyzed to be 2 (14.3%) and that of Decreasing Return to Scale (DRS)-type was 5 (35.7%). In the program of improvement, Increasing Return to Scale(IRS)-type has to find the plan to increase outputs in present input level and Decreasing Return to Scale (DRS)-type has to find the plan to decrease inputs.
