DEA모형을 이용한 벼 무논점파 재배농가의 경영효율성 분석

(Management Efficiency of Rice Farm based on Wet-Direct Seeding Using DEA)

This paper will try to measure the management efficiency of wet-direct seeded rice using Data Envelopment Analysis. Some farms impose wetdirect seeding in rice to complement the problems of existing cultivation method and by analyzing the effectiveness of wet-direct seeding method in those farms. Results show that using the Tier model in analyzing farm efficiency, 13 farm houses were superior, while eight farm houses were classified as inferior therefore recommended to get expert’s advice regularly. On wet-direct seeding model, the most urgent problem identified was reduction of farm machinery depreciation cost, followed by cost reduction of fertilizer, pesticides, labor, and varieties. Also on wet-direct seeding, mean efficiency of scales was 0.9138, while mean efficiency of technology was 0.9482. On those factors, farming inefficiency was affected by scale view side rather than technology view side as inference.
