노인복지관 사회복지사의 역량에 대한 IPA 분석:

Importance Performance Analysis on the Competencies of Social workers in Seniors Welfare Center:

본 연구는 노인복지관에서 일하는 사회복지사의 역량을 향상시키기 위해 필요로 하는 교육내용을 파악하고자 진행되었다. 이를 위해 서울시노인복지관 4곳의 사회복지사 69명을 대상으로 역량(지식, 기술, 태도)에 관해 중요도와 실행도 설문을 실시하여 대응표본 t검증 (paired-test)과 IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) Matrix를 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 노인복지관 사회복지사의 역량은 전체적으로 중요도 대비 실행도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다(p<.001). 둘째, 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)에서는 4개의 모든 영역에 항목이 분포되었다. 제1사분면〔좋은 실행도 지속유지〕15개 항목, 제2사분면 〔노력 집중화 지향〕7개 항목, 제3사분면〔낮은 우선순위〕14개 항목, 제4사분면〔과잉노력 지양〕6개 항목이 해당되었다. 이를 통해 노인복지관 사회복지사들의 역량 강화를 위한 교육 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study was conducted to identify education content which is needed to develop competency of social workers working in senior welfare center. To accomplish the objective, this study investigated 69 social workers working at four senior welfare centers located in Seoul on their competency related to importance and performance. For data analysis methodologies, paired -test and Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) Matrix were used. The results can be summarized as follows: First, on the whole, competency of social workers of senior welfare centers showed low performance compared to importance(p<.001). Second, in the Importance Performance Analysis(IPA), the items were distributed in all four areas. A total of 15 items on QuadrantⅠ(Keep up the Good Work), 7 items on QuadrantⅡ(Concentrate Here), 14 items on Quadrant Ⅲ(Low Priority), and 6 items on Quadrant Ⅳ(Possible Overskill) were applicable. Through the result, this study had a significance in that it provided a direction of education for competency development of social workers working in senior welfare center.
