A Study on the Green Care Effect of Co-worker with Disability by Quality of Life Assessment

Care has been the purview of the social work field but has received little empirical evaluation by other agricultural scholars. This study shows the output of green care incorporated into farming process. Questionnaire items tapping about health conditions were administered to 213 co-workers who were supported by green care services within the past three years from 2012 to 2014. We examine how working years at private farm is associated with Health-related quality of life for persons with disability. Analysis of Variance on Mental Component Summary calculated from Health-related QOL (Quality of Life) Score showed that green care services influenced the health conditions of persons with disability as the number of working years go by. This article concludes by arguing that green care is an effective factor affecting their mental health.
