중국산 김치 수입에 따른 국내산 김치 선호요인 분석

Factors Affecting Consumers’ Preference for Korean Kimchee Considering the Import of Chinese Kimchee

This paper analyzes how consumer’s preference for Korean Kimchee is affected by the consumer’s response to the food safety issue of imported Chinese Kimchee as well as the household characteristics. The ordered logit regression model is employed to resolve the ordered nature of consumer’s preference to Korean Kimchee. The results imply that consumer’s doubt about the safety of Chinese Kimchee and other concerns relevant to the food safety issues seem to make Korean consumer prefer the Korean Kimchee rather than Chinese one.
