Vertical Integration in Duck Industry :

This study primarily aims to evaluate the current situation, problems and possible solutions of the vertical integration in duck industry. With the relatively short history of vertical integration in duck industry, many problems are revealed, ranging from the breach of contract between integrators and breeding farms to the lack of processed products and cooking methods for duck. This study finds it essential to build a long-lasting partnership between integrators and breeding farms. Many possible solutions to prevent the disputes between integrators and breeding farms are discussed, and various measures to further develop the vertical integration in duck industry are addressed.
