중국어권 학습자를 위한 관용표현 교육 방안

A study on the education programs of ldiomatic expression for the scholars in chinese circle: Focusing on expressions which appear in test of proficiency in Korean(TOPIK).

관용표현이란 그 나라의 사회적, 역사적, 문화적 배경이 반영되어 마치 습관처럼 굳어져서 널리 사용되는 특수한 표현을 가리킨다. 외국인 학습자들에게는 어려운 표현이지만 모국어 화자들에게는 자기 생각을 강조하거나 생동하게 표현하고 싶을 때 자주 애용하는 표현이기도 하다. 그러므로 관용표현은 한국어를 공부하는 중국인 학습자들에게는 어려운 과제이며, 모국어 화자처럼 정확하고 유창한 의사소통을 달성하려면 관용표현을 반드시 습득하고 활용해야 한다. 또한, 한국어 능력을 평가하는 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)에도 관용표현이 해마다 빠짐없이 출제되고 있으며, 고급으로 가면 갈수록 출제의 빈도가 높아지기 때문에 소홀히 할 수가 없는 영역도 된다. 하지만 지금 진행되고 있는 한국어 관용표현 교육은 의미설명을 중심으로 하는 이해단계에 머물고 있으며 학습자가 관용표현 용법에 대해 습득하는 것은 거의 없어서 관용표현을 잘못 사용하거나 아예 사용하지 못하는 경우가 많다. 그러므로 TOPIK에 나오는 관용표현을 중심으로 한 한국어 관용표현 교육이 무엇보도 중요할 것으로 보인다. 문제와 이후의 연구 과제를 제시할 것이다.

The so-called idiomatic expression refers to the special fixed expression which can reflect social, historical, cultural background of a country and can be widely used. Although it will be difficult for foreign scholars, for the native language users, idiomatic expression is a way to express thoughts more vividly. Therefore, it is a very difficult subject for Korean scholars of China. To communicate accurately and smoothly like Korean language users, these idiomatic expressions must be learned and applied. In addition, in Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), the evaluation of Korean idiomatic expression, idiomatic expression is included every year and the level is higher and higher, which shall not be neglected. But the current Korean idiomatic expression education basically takes the meanings of words as the center, scholars can hardly learn idiomatic expression. Therefore, many people cannot learn to use idiomatic expression, and even a lot of people cannot use. So now if there is a kind of Korean idiomatic expression education which takes idiomatic expression knowledge appearing in TOPIK as the center, it will be very necessary.
