This paper estimates crop farmer s preference on renewable resource using a choice-based conjoint model. For the data, 2,074 questionnaires were collected from 89 crop farmers in the Otofuke, Japan in 1999. From the empirical results, this study examines several attributes and levels of renewable resource irfluencing crop farmer s utilities and simulates the market share of the renewable resource.
