The purpose of this study is to review the changes of agricultural production and trade with agricultural policy due to NAFTA using RCA in Mexico. After NAFTA, although Mexico government enforced the Direct Payment(PROCAMPO), the production of primary crops has declined gradually, while the productions of some vegetables and fruits including tomato, water melon increased in Mexico. This study shows that NAFTA has negative impact on the agricultural sector and the situation of food self-sufficiency in Mexico.
