The Development of Digital Agriculture & the Goal of Agricultural Policy

This study aims to clarify the agricultural development and the institutional change for Digital Agriculture. Digital Agriculture is a consistent knowledge-information-based agriculture in which farming methods and production processes are decided through digitalized technologies. With the development of Digital Agriculture, one can participate in the process of production, act oneself in agricultural marketing and e-marketplace, and also make self-made information for others. Thus, it is necessary to set up the new direction of agricultural policy to secure the multifunctionality and to construct the infrastructure of information communication.
