This study examines the factors influencing household expenditure of Multi-functionality using Heckman s two-step estimation. Based on a Heckman s two-step estimation, household need to make two decisions : whether to expend WTP and how much to expend it. This specification allows the participation and expense decision to be determined by different set of parameters. Data used in this study were collected from a survey about household expenditure of multi-functionality in rural areas in 2002. The results can be used to evaluate the factors influencing household expenditure of multi-functionality.
