The objective of this paper is to evaluate the economic value of seed potatoes cultured by hydroponic system at Jeju Agricultural Technology Bureau. For the evaluation, the dichotomous-choice contingent valuation method is used and adopted the Turnbull distribution-free model. The data used are collected from the interviews with potato farmers about willingness-to-pay at the various price levels of the seed-potatoes. The evaluation result shows that the average amount of willingness-to-pay for the seed-potatoes is 1,231 won per kilogram with standard deviation of 97.6 won/kg.
