This paper describes the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) for analyzing product characteristic priority of exportable traditional liquor by producer survey. Producer s evaluations of product characteristic may involve diverse considerations such as price, design, alcohol content and so on. AHP is particularly useful when preferences depend on diverse and intangible concerns. The results of this study show what product characteristic matter most to foreign market by weight and priority. This results are not only useful for traditional liquor enterprises, but also are essential to government for making support program which is promoting exportation of traditional liquor.
