The risk environment of farmers is changing due to increasing market liberalization and industrialization of agriculture. These changes lead to new risks, and new risk management strategies are needed. This paper analyzes the nature of risk and the variety of Risk Management Strategies available for the fruit farmers using a survey data. The results of this paper could be an important information for the improvement of risk management in Korea.
