A Study on the effects of Traditional Fermented Soybean Product on Regional Economy

This paper deals with the effect of Sun-Chang County s regional economy, specifically Sun-Chang County s paste industry within Jeonlabuk-do. So to speak, we estimate the effect of Sun-Chang County s paste industry which influenced Sun-Chang County and Jeonlabuk-do. For the purpose of estimation, we carried out Input-Output Analysis which uses Input-Output Table. But It is a nationwide estimation which used national Input-Output Table. It is the effect of national industry not region, because we have no regional Input-Output Table. For that reason, we used Location Quotient Approach which estimated the effect of regional industry. Here, we used national and regional parameter, then we make new regional parameter. Specifically, this paper focuses on Sun-Chang County paste industry s Forward Linkage Effect and Backward linkage Effect. With the use of these effects, we estimate the effect of Sun-Chang County s regional economy.
