About 9.4 millions of ducks are raised in Korea by about 8.4 thousands of farm households as of 2006. The total supply of duck meat in Korea amounted to 40,000 M/Ts, thereby showing the per capita consumption of duck meat as 0.82kg in 2005. It is presumed that more than 70% of the total duck production would be produced by the integration system in Korea. In order to identify factors affecting the income of the duck growers a multi- linear-regression analysis was attempted using 1,464 duck integration operation cases by 70 duck growers during April 2002-April 2005. As a result it was approved that duck growers income was determined by the mortality of young duck chicks and feed conversion rate. However, since these two components are out of growers control, conflict between growers and integrators could not be avoided. In order to develop the integration system in duck farming proper measures should be taken, so that the conflict between the integrators and the growers could be minimized.
