Factors Influencing Urban Consumers Purchasing Decision toward Imported Cherries

The present study conducts an internet survey to investigate factors affecting urban consumers purchasing decision toward imported cherries. The results show that the quality of cherries and consumers tasting and purchasing experiences have a significant, positive influence on consumers willingness to buy. The findings suggest that the more consumers are exposed to an advertisement of the cherries, the more they purchase them. Various functional effects of cherries and income level were also found to be important. However, unexpectedly, a price factor turned out to be insignificant.
