Effective Management for The College Farm

A college farm is one of the basic facilities for the studies and researches of the students and professors in the agricultural college. However the functions of college farm are decreased rapidly because of the changes in identity of agricultural college. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the possibilities to activate the college farm, investigate the difficulties and prospects in this field through surveying 26 college farms. The general problems of college farm are the lack of practice facilities, outdated equipments, and financial problems. This paper propose that the college farm create profits by increasing the size of facilities, cattle and building newly. Even the college farms are facing difficult situations, they have to utilize their own resources, such as natural environment, clean ecology and equipments, to contribute the regional community and college members. Ecological Park can be suggested for the sake of the inhabitants, and make uses of the parks as educational opportunities for the students.
