경인지역 초등교사와 교생의 교육실습 운영 및 환경에 대한 인식 조사

Elementary school teachers and student teachers perception about the administration and the environment of student teaching in Kyounggi and Incheon

초등교육의 내실화와 예비교사교육에서의 현장성 강화를 위해 경인교육 대학교에서는 교육실습 체제를 확대 ․ 개편하여 실시하고 있다. 새로운 실습체제의 안정적 정착을 위해서는 현행 교육실습 제도와 운영실태, 실습환경등에 대해 관련 당사자들이 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 파악해 볼 필요가 있다. 설문조사에서 지도교사와 교생들은 실습을 통해 얻는 보람과 변화에 대 해 대체로 긍정적인 반응을 보였지만, 그 과정에서 겪는 어려움과 개선되어야 할 점에 대해서도 언급하였다. 조사결과를 통해 볼 때, 교육실습의 효과를 더욱 높이기 위해 다음과 같은 노력이 요구됨을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 수업실습에서 교생의 아동지도능력, 아동과의 관계형성 등과 관련한 영역을 보다 강조하여 지도할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 교생의 수업에 있어서 ‘해당 수업의 목표에 충분히 도달하였는가’를 늘 염두에 둘 수 있도록 지도해야 할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 실습학교 지도교사의 질과 사기를 향상시켜야 할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 교육실습에서 교대의 역할과 비중을 늘려야 할 필요가 있다.

Gyoung-In NUE is putting in effect a new student teaching system in order to insure substantiality of elementary school education and to reinforce the field actuality of education for teachers-to-be. Two surveys in this paper present the perception of cooperating teachers and student teachers about the ongoing system. Their responses are generally positive, but there are some indications of troubles and improvements of the system. According to the result of the surveys, some ideas are suggested as follows: First, it is necessary to emphasize the student teachers ability to guide the children and to communicate with them in student teaching. Second, it is important to teach student teachers always to have in mind if their instructions achieve the aim of it. Third, it is requested to enhance the quality and the morale of the cooperating teachers. Fourth, it is needed that GINUE should take more roles and proportions in student teaching.
