분장 표현기법에 따른 착시효과에 관한 연구 - 뮤지컬 헤드윅을 중심으로 -

대중문화 속에서 수많은 공연 예술들이 자리 잡고 있다. 더욱 창조적이며 보여 지는 것 에 익숙해진 관객들의 시각에 맞추어 보다 다양한 표현 방법으로 외적 창조에 힘써야 한다. 이러한 표현의 시각화를 효과적으로 나타낼 수 있는 부분이 분장의 역할이다. 최근 공연 예술의 발전으로 분장 분야가 대학과 대학원에서 정규 과정으로 채택 되어 기술적인 면뿐 아니라 학술적인 연구 단계까지 발전되어지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서 는 효율적인 분장의 연출 과정을 제시하고 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 분장의 개념 정립과 기술적 측면에 필요한 표현 기법을 나타내고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 착시의 개념과 형태, 색의 의미에 대하여 이론적 개념을 형성하고 이러 한 근거를 바탕으로 분장의 작품을 분석하고 형상화 하였다. 또한 다양한 방법을 통하여 새로운 분장 표현 방법을 찾는데 중점을 두었다. 외적 표현 기법을 통하여 일어나는 착시 효과를 평면 도형에서의 선의 방향과 굵기, 곡선과 직선을 통하여 3차원적 입체를 형성하 고 분장 디자인의 새로운 기법으로 착시 현상의 외적 요인을 제시 하였다. 무대분장이나 영상 분장의 분류에 따른 외형적 특징은 제시하지 않았으며 종합적인 시 선에서 판단할 수 있는 이미지를 통하여 연출 의도에 적합한 배역을 창조할 수 있도록 인 식하고자 하였다. 뮤지컬 작품 헤드윅을 통하여 남성과 여성의 이미지를 표현하기 위한 착시 효과의 외적 요소를 표현하며 헤드윅의 새로운 분장 제시를 통하여 분석함으로써 시 각적 재미와 더불어 다양한 표현 기법의 조화에 초점을 맞추었다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 분장의 활성화, 전문화 되어 기존의 표현 방법을 떠나 착시 효과를 시각화 하는 분장의 한 장르로 받아들여져 구체적인 자료들이 지속적으로 연구되어지길 바란다.

The numerous performing arts are established from popular culture inside. Must endeavor in external creation with the various expression method to spectators of more creative and accustomed to visible. It is a role of make-up to visualization of expression which it shows effectively. Recently with development of performing art the make-up field from the college and the graduate school is adopted with regular course and it is coming to be developed at technique and theoretical research phase. Thus, this study presents the production process of efficient make-up and it shows concept formulation of make-up and expression technique which is necessary with a technique based on theoretical background. In this study were considered to concept and form of optical illusion and meaning of color and based on these evidences the work of make-up was analyzed and embodied. In addition, this study focused on searching new make-up techniques through various methods. The optical illusion effect by an external expression technique it uses direction and thick of line it is thick, curve and the straight line in the plane surface figure and it makes 3 dimension solids, and make-up design it presented the external factor of optical illusion actual condition with new technique. The external form feature which it follows in stage make-up or classification of image makeup does not present, and in order for the creation of the proper character to be possible in production intention through the image where the judgement is possible with overview gaze. Optical illusion to present the image of man and woman through Hedwig And The Angry Inch materials from musicals were shown in various points and were compared with today’s make-up examples and new make-ㅕp techniques with Hedwig And The Angry Inch , which focused on the harmony of various presentation methods as well as visual effects. In conclusion, optical illusion is regarded as an important factor for the make-up and activation and specialization of make-up which uses an optical illusion effect on a stage will ultimately lift up optical illusion in a level of make-up art visualizing internal world of work beyond previously its subsidiary level of expressing method, expecting many vigorous research on optical illusion which will make great progress in the field of make-up art.
