팜므 파탈 이미지 연구 - 패션을 중심으로 -

현재 다양한 문화에 나타나고 있는 팜므 파탈은 반복적인 모방과 응용 및 변화를 통해 그 이미지를 생산해 내고 있는데 이러한 이미지 표현에 있어 영화, 패션, 메이크업, 헤어 스타일 등에서의 표현에 중요한 의미를 부여할 수밖에 없다. 19세기 회화에 표현된 팜므 파탈이 20세기 재현되고 있는 이미지를 미학적 관점에서 연구해 보고자 한다. 팜므 파탈의 개념과 사회.문화적 배경, 19세기 패션에서 표현된 팜므 파탈을 고찰하였고, 이론적 배경에서 고찰한 내용을 바탕으로 팜므 파탈 이미지가 재현된 헤어스타일을 분석하였다. 문헌 자료인 미용문화사 및 관련서적, 미술사 관련서적, 뷰티 관련 사진 자료 등을 통해 살펴보았다. 패션에서 표현된 헤어스타일은 과장된 스타일과 내추럴한 스타일이 공존하여 나타나고 있는데, 펑크스타일, 블레이드, 백콤으로 양감을 준 헤어스타일과 스트레이트와 컬러 헤어 등을 들 수 있다. 본 논문을 연구하면서 팜므 파탈의 이미지가 재현되고 있는 부분을 연구 범위로 분석하 였으나, 분석 대상 시기의 사진 자료 및 이러한 이미지가 헤어스타일에 구체적으로 접목 시킨 선행 논문이 없는 관계로 연구가 다소 미흡한 부분이 있었으며, 분석 대상이 다소 광범위하게 설정됨으로서 상호 관련성을 분석하는데 제한점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 팜 므 파탈의 이미지를 헤어스타일에 국한하여 표현하였으나, 헤어스타일 위주가 아닌 패션, 메이크업을 다룬 분야가 향후 지속적으로 연구될 필요성이 있다. 또한 21세기에 관한 연 구는 보다 더 복합된 트렌드에 맞춘 다양한 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

The Femme Fatale that we can find from a diversity of culture creates the own image through the repeated imitation, application, or variation and so forth. When it comes to the way of an image creation, We can not help neglecting the expression of Femme Fatale in a film, fashion, make-up and hair-style. In fact, Femme Fatale plays a pivotal role in the fields mentioned above. Therefore, in this treatise, I would like to study the images of Femme Fatale -that appeared in 19th paintings and reappear in the 20th century- from a point of aesthetic view Femme Fatale and social, cultural background of the one, and the consideration of Femme Fatale in fashion and hair-style. I analyzed the reappeared image of Femme Fatale on the basis of the findings from theoretical background. The method of study : I studied this from the documents such as cultural history of beauty, art history, pictures and photographs related with beauty. I attached these visual materials for your easy understanding. Both exaggerated and natural hair styles exist in fashion, for example punk style, blade, voluminous hair styles using backcomb, straight and curly hair. I have analyzed the area in which the image of Femme Fatale reappears. But, I had a difficulty of finding not only the pictures of Femme Fatale in 19th century but alsoprecedent treatises dealing with hair-style related with the images. In addition, I admit that there is some deficiency in my study arising from a wide scope of the study. I would like to suggest we need to study more and continuously about other field such as fashion, make- up and so forth, In my opinion, if we study Femme Fatale in 21th century, We will have to focus on the more complicated trends.
