This article is on the Korean-Japanese Comparative Study about the Electronization of Administration and the Legal System of the Residents Participation. Nowadays, IT is the most leading of all industries. Particularly, Korea and Japan are the IT strong powers. IT is made use in not only industry, but also in administration and politics. Diverse administrative services through internet are not yet new. Modern representative[parliamentary] democracy system should be complemented by. administrative services through internet. The most effective system to promote residents participation through internet is electronic voting. Thus, this study is aimed to promote mutual understanding between Korea and Japan by the research of the electronic voting of the present conditions of the electronic voting in Korea and Japan.
