컬러테라피에 관한 탐색적 연구

Exploratory Study on Color Therapy

인간의 오감 중 시각적 감각은 가장 영향력이 있다. 특히 시각적 환경 중에서도 30%를 차지하는 컬러(color)는 시각적 자극이 망막에 남아있는 잔상으로 작용하기 때문에 그 영향력이 크다. 컬러(color)의 치유효과를 이용하여 긍정적 영향력을 발휘하는 컬러테라피 (Color Therapy)는 인간의 정신적, 정서적, 신체적 측면에서 선 순환적 매개체로서의 가능성을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 컬러테라피(Color Therapy)의 개념, 기능과 효과에 대해 알아보고 실제로 컬러테라피(Color Therapy)를 적용한 분야의 연구들을 고찰하였다. 컬러테라피(Color Therapy)는 차크라 힐링(Chakra Healing), 보석테라피(Gemstone Therapy), 컬러미러 (Colour Mirrors), 플라워테라피(Flower Therapy), 멀티테라피(Multi-therapy), 미술치료 (Art Therapy), 컬러진단차트(Color Diagnostic Chart), 컬러 다이어리(Color Diary), 컬러 테이핑(Color Taping) 등 다양하게 활용된다. 이처럼 컬러(color)의 전달을 통한 정신적, 정서적, 신체적 안정과 치유효과에 대한 과학적 근거가 마련되면서 의학, 한의학, 마케팅, 심리학, 상담학 분야에서도 폭넓게 응용되고 있다. 이처럼 본 연구가 미용분야에서 컬러테라피(Color Therapy)가 다양하게 활용될 수 있도록 지식적 기반을 다지는 데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

Among five senses human, vision has the most influence. Color, which takes up 30% of visual environment, functions as afterimage that visual stimulation remains at the retina, so the influence is very big. Color therapy that exerts positive effects by using therapeutic effects of color suggests possibility of good circulation medium in the physical, mental and emotional perspectives. This study discovers the concept, function and effects of color therapy, considering other studies that actually applied color therapy. Color therapy is applied to various therapies including chakra healing, gemstone, colour mirrors, flower, multi, art, color diagnostic chart, color diary and color taping. As scientific evidence of mental, emotional and physical stability effect and therapeutic effects through conveyance of color proved, the therapy is broadly applied to various fields such as medicine, oriental medicine, marketing, psychology and counselling studies. This study is expected to contribute to establishing knowledge base for color therapy to be used in a variety ways.
