지역아동센터 종사자의 아동학대 인식 및신고 의식에 관한 연구 - 부산지역 지역아동센터를 중심으로 -

A Study on the Reporting Consciousness and the Perception of Child Abuse by Local Childcare Center Workers - Focusing on Childcare Centers in Busan -

본 연구의 목적은 지역아동센터 종사자의 아동학대 인식 및 신고 의식을 파악 하여 이를 고양시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 유용한 기초자료를 제공하고, 궁극적으로 지역아동센터에서의 피학대 아동의 조기 발견율을 향상시키고자 함에 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 부산지역 지역아동센터의 센터장 및 생활복지사 113명을 대상으로 아동학대에 대한 인식 및 아동학대 의심사례 발생 시 신고의 식에 대한 조사를 실시했다. 조사결과, 아동학대에 대한 전반적인 인식은 5점 만점에 4.03으로 조사되었으 며, 학대 종류별 인식정도는 방임, 성적학대, 신체적학대, 정서적학대 순으로 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한, 아동학대 관련규정에 대한 이해 정도는 5점 만점에 3.85로 보통 이상의 이해 정도를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 센터장이 생활 복지사에 비해 규정이해 정도가 높았고, 또한 연령이 높을수록 통계적으로 유의 미한 수준에서 더 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 아울러, 아동학대 신고의식에 대한 조사결과는 신고에 대한 기대감도 가지고 있으나, 신고에 따른 부담감도 같이 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this paper is to provide the basis to build up workers perception and intention of report awareness toward child abuse at local child care centers; this ultimately aims at increasing early detection of child abuse at local child care centers. For this, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 113 workers including executive directors and social workers to investigate their perception of child abuse as well as their intention of report awareness toward child abuse. The results of the survey shows that the overall perception of child abuse scored 4.03 on five-point scale and among 4 abusing types, child neglect, sexual abuse, physical abuse and emotional abuse stand in the order of score. Moreover, their understanding of the regulations on child abuse scored 3.85 on five-point scale, which is moderately higher than average. In the level of understanding of the regulation, the executive directors scored higher than the workers and the older, the higher. In addition, in terms of their attitude toward child abuse reporting, most of the respondents had not only the expectation after reporting but also psychological burdens about reporting itself.
