컴퓨터를 이용한 모의 악교정 수술 전후 영상 개발에 관한 연구

A computer system has been developed for the simulation of orthognathic surgery by means of video imaging. The system consists of 16 bit IBM compatible personal computer with graphic board, video camera, RGB monitor and mouse, Software package is written in C a graphics software language. The simulation includes the image operation on the hard tissue and soft tissue changes on a color image. Any osteotomy in image operation can be done at any point on hard tissue image such as sagittal split, vertical, C-, L-, Z-osteotomy, subapical, mandibular segmental osteotomy, genioplasty, LeFort Ⅰ, -Ⅱ, -Ⅲ, maxillary segmental, rhinoplasty, frontal advancement and etc. Realistic soft tissue image changes to the any direction according to the hard tissue changes. This software provides cephalometric analysis with or without cephalometric X-ray film, data base system and measuring function of any angle and distance as user s defined. Realistic video image simulation and analysis before and after surgery using computer can provide surgical planning and aesthetic treatment objective to the doctor and the patient, which is more accurate and can be visualized.
