This is a report of two cases and review of literature that deals with malunioned maxillary fractures. Case 1, 56 years old male patient visited for the malocclusion and masticatory disturbances. He fell down 9 weeks age, not treat facial region because of head injury. Through radiograph, dental model analysis and occlusal evaluation we diagosed that the maxilla was maluioned after accident. Le Fort Ⅰ type osteotomy through former fracture line and fixation with miniplates was performed. Case 2, 28 years old female patient for the facial deformity and malocclusion. She had experienced traffic accident 1 year ago. We diagnosed that the maxilla and mandible were malunioned after the accident le Fort Ⅰ type maxillary osteotomy was performed through the new osteotomy line, and left madibular body osteotomy through the former fracture line. After the adjustment of occlusion maxilla and mandible were fixed with miniplates. Patinets were satisfied with the improved esthetic and occlusion.
