The ameloblastoma is a true neoplasm of enamel organ type which does not undergo differentiation to the point enamel organ. It usually occurs between the ages of 20 and 50 years. This tumor is the most aggressive of the odontogenic tumors of the jaws and occur about 80% in the mandible. The tumor is slow growing, the average duration before treatment being five to eight years. Clinically the lesion may appear normal or be enlarged with displacement and malocclusion of regional teeth, facial disfigurement according to growth of the tumor mass. Recurrences are common (about 33%), but this is probably due to incomplete removal of lesion. The author had operated a patient, 36-year-old female immediate reconstruction with metal plate and screw fixation after hemimandibulectomy with recurred ameloblastoma involving from posteriors to condyle head at right side mandible. By the prosthetic implant operation, I obtained favorable results of good function, short intermaxillary fixation periods and easy operation procedure than the other reconstruction methods but showed esthetically problem of slightly facial disfigurement by follow up check after 1 year.
