Traumatic cyst : report of 2 cases

This is a report of two unusual clinical cases of traumatic cyst and following points were the summary of our experience. 1. One case was 20-yr-old male patient who showed multiple cystic lesion on Rt. ascending ramus and Rt. body of the mandible & one case was 14-yr-old girl who showed a cystic lesion on symphysis of the mandible. 2. There was no history of trauma in both cases as an etiologic factor. One case showed mild swelling & pain on Rt. buccal cheek and one case was discovered during routine dental radiographic taking. 3. Definite diagnosis of traumatic cyst could be established with surgical exploration. 4. Postoperative course showed normal healing process & increased bony trabecular patterns.
