This is a case report and review of the literature that deals with cerebrovascular accident due to septic emboli originated from the odontogenic infections. The patient, 40 years old female, was referred from the local clinic for the evaluation of painful swelling on the left canine fossa area. On the basis of clinical and radiographic examination, she was diagnosed as the left canine fossa abscess. And so we performed the incision and drainage on the left upper vestibular area. After about 2 hours, she was transferred to the emergency room with the semicomatous mental state associated with nuchal rigidity, constricted pupil and high fever. We diagnosed as C.V.A due to septic emboli. Although the emergency and conservative treatments were performed, but she was expired.
