GORLIN AND GOLTZ SYNDROME : A CASE REPORT

Gorlin and Goltz 증후군, 즉 Jaw cyst-Basal cell nevus-Bifid rib 증후군은 1951년 Blinkley와 Johnson에 의해 최초로 기술되고 I960년 Gorlin 등에 의해 확립된 증후군으로써, 피부, 치아, 뼈, 눈의 기형 및 신경학적, 성적인 이상을 나타내는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 증례는 20세된 한국 여성으로서, 악골의 낭종, 二裂의 늑골, 短中手骨症, 側彎症, 扁平足, 色素性母斑, 類表皮囊腫등의 징후를 보인 경우로서, 재발성악골각화낭종에 의해 발견된 예이며, 이에 문헌적 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

This is a case report of the so-called Gorlin and Goltz syndrome, or jaw cyst-basal cell nevus-bifld rib syndrome in a 20-year old korean female. She had several stigmata of the syndrome. She displayed multiple jaw cysts, bifid left third rib, short left fourth metacarpal, scoliosis, pes planus, epidermoid cyst, pigmented nevi.
