Central hemangima of bone is a rare, benign condition that is characterized by the proliferation of blood vessels. Hemangiomatosis is a condition in which multiple hemangiomas are developed. The modalities of treatment used for the hemangioma include compression, embolization, cryosurgery, electrocoagulation, sclerosis with sclerosing agents, radiation, and surgical excision. In the maxilla, the lesion is less amenable to surgical excision because of the rich collateral circulation. Since hemangioma of the jaw is a benign lesion, radical therapy is contraindicated unless forced because of complications such as uncontrollable hemorrhage. Spontaneous regression is by far the usual order of outcome in the soft tissue lesion, particularly the cavernous variety. This is to report a case of multiple central hemangioma of maxilla & knee joints and spontaneous regression of the recurred maxillary hemangioma.
