左側顔面 및 耳介前後部에 發生한 Pilar tumor의 外科的 處置에 對한 治驗例

A CASE REPORT OF THE SURGICAL TREATMENT OF THE PILAR TUMOR ON THE LEFT FACE AND PRE-AND POSTAURICULAR AREA

We have met a 28-year-old man with a large mass, so-called pilar tumor, which was 15×l0×5cm in size and was very rapid in growth. He has experienced one or more surgical intervention for removal of the mass but has failed. The authors could remove the mass completely via surgical approach without significant defects or complications. 1. The tumor mass could be removed surgically en masse with complete success 2. The lower half of the auricle was also removed with the mass for prevention of the recurrence. 3. The primary closure could be done immediately after removal of the mass without skin graft for the defect area. 4. The slight peripheral facial paralysis was resulted from the facial nerve injury, which was inevitable in routine surgical method.
