한국어 고급 학습자를 위한 사자성어 교육 연구

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 고급 학습자의 표현 능력 향상을 위한 사자성어 교육 연구에 있다. 한국어 고급 학습자의 사자성어 표현 오류를 줄이기 위해 대학교 한국어 교재에 나타난 사자성어 교육 현황 및 사자성어의 품사 분류, 통사적 양상을 연구하였고 사자성어 수업 모형을 제시하여 한국어 학습자의 표현 오류를 줄이기 위한 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 2장은 대학교 한국어 6종 교재의 사자성어 교육 현황을 분석하였고 3장에서 국립국어원의「한국어 교육 어휘 내용 개발 3단계」연구에서 선정한 214개의 사자성어를 대상으로 국립국어원의『표준국어대사전』,『한국어기초사전』, 말뭉치 찾기를 활용하여 사자성어의 품사 분류, 통사적 양상 연구 및 예문을 제시하였다. 4장에서는 사자성어의 품사 분류, 통사적 양상 연구 및 예문을 활용한 사자성어 수업 모형을 제시하였다.

This study went over the usage of four-character idioms with the purpose of helping advanced foreign learners in speaking Korean. I categorized the four-character idiomatic expressions by their parts-of-speech, illustrated syntactic structure of them, and presented a teaching model with which it can be applied in teaching the idioms in class. In chapter 2 I presented the idioms categorized by their parts-of-speech and their syntactic structures through studying the 214 four-character idioms, excerpted from the book, The Development of Korean Language Education: vocabulary and contents (Third Step), published by The National Institute of the Korean Language. According to the part-of-speech, the idiom s grammatical function differs. Relevant examples are followed. In chapter 3, a desirable teaching model is illustrated with which foreign Korean language learners can learn the idioms, avoiding making mistakes in speech. The use of four-character idioms at an appropriate time in speech can boost the stream of conversation since lots of meanings are condensedly expressed in the four characters. It is important to encourage foreign Korean language learners to use four-character idioms in conversation. It is helpful to their Korean expression skill. In a way that the teaching model I suggested considers the difference of the idioms by their parts-of-speech and their syntactic structure, it can be a very effective tool to teach foreign learners, reducing conversational mistakes.
