경향점수를 이용한 학교급별 사교육 요인 분석

An Analysis of Factors of Private Education Expenditure Using Propensity Score: Focusing on Math Private Education

이 연구에서는 경향점수를 이용하여 학교급별 사교육 요인을 분석하고, 수학 사교육 참여율과 참여 학생 사교육비 평균을 분석하였다. 경향점수란 실험집단에 속할 가능성에 영향을 주는 관련 변인들을 공변인으로 하여 해당 사례가 실험집단에 할당될 조건부 확률을 추정한 것으로, 이 연구에서는 경향점수를 매칭한 두 집단을 비교한다. 분석 결과 서울 지역의 사교육비와 수학 사교육비는 다른 집단과 다르게 일반계 고등학교에서 크게 증가하며, 성적 상위권 학생들은 중학교에서 수학 사교육 참여율이 급증하고 있고, 고소득 가구 학생들의 사교육비는 학교급에 따라 선형적으로 증가하고, 특목고 진학 희망은 다른 요인에 비해 사교육비에 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of school - based tutoring by subject, and to analyze the participation rate of private education expenditure and average of private education cost of participating students. The results of the analysis show that private education expenditure and math education expenditure in Seoul are significantly increased in the high school and that of the high school students in the middle school is rapidly increasing, The expectation of admission to high school was not much different from other factors.
