Definable hamangiomas comprise the most common single tumor in the region of the head and neck in children. The hemangioma is a kind of hamartoma and more like a congenital malformation than a benign tumor. But it is clinically frustrating class of lesions in the view point of management, because it causes disfigurement in the head and neck, or progressive enlargement and massive hemorrhage. A hemangioma occurred in the left buccal and lip mucosa of 11 year-old schoolboy has been presented and treated by means of radical resection of its lesion after biopsied. The authors have experience hemangioma, sized 7cm×3cm×2cm, cured by means of surgical excision without any dysfunction and facial disfigurement. The histopathological features are characterized with mild degeneration of the muscle located in and around the hemangioma and cavernous capillary proliferation, but not observed any aggressive growth.
