The primordial cyst is one of the less common type of odontogenic cyst. It develops through cystic degeneration and liquefaction of the stellate reticulum in an enamel organ before any calcified enamel or dentin has been formed. 1. The authors observed a 13 years old girl with a painful swelling and bony expansion on the right mandibular angle area. 2. Roentgenographic examination revealed a large unilocular cystic lesion involving the right side of mandible body, angle and ascending ramus. 3. We had treated it by means of marsupialization with prolonged postoperative dressing and enucleated the remaining pathologic cystic wall. 4. Consequently we have considered result was good.
