The authors have treated and observed a case of adenoameloblastoma occured in the upper left canine portion of the maxilla in 18 years old girl. 1. The clinical and roentgenographic examinations were resembled to the follicular cyst. 2. Operative procedures: Under local anesthesia with 2% lidocaine HCl. (1:50, 000 Epinephrine) a linear incision was made 0. 5cm above the gingival margin from the left first molar to the left cental incisor. The mass was not adherent to the cavity walls and was easily removed with the cuspid tooth, which was intimate relation to the tumor. The maxillary sinus was not continous with the defect. Sutures were removed on the 7th day following surgery, and the patient made an uneventful recovery. 3. Microscopic examination revealed to the typical pattern of adenoameloblastoma. The epithelial islands were appeared ameloblastomatous solid cellular areas and a number of duct like structures were distributed throughout the tumor, and some foci of calcification were scattered throughout the parenchymal tissue. The patient was followed for 8 month without recurrence. The good formation of new bone in the defect.
