年齡에 따른 上顎前齒 根管幅徑에 대한 X-線學的 硏究

THE ROENTGENOLOGIC STUDY ON THE WIDTH OF THE ROOT CANALS OF THE MAXILLARY ANTERIOR TEETH WITH IN THE AGING

The author had studied on the width of the root canals of the maxillary anterior teeth with in age groups which were selected from 500 cases, showing normal signs in roentgenograms and oral examinations. The results of the root canal index in Korean age groups were obtained as follows. 1. The root canal index of maxillary central incisor in man was 0.70 in 20 years of age, 0.58 in 30 years of age, 0.53 in 40 years of age, 0.50 in 50 years of age, 0.41 in 60 years of age in the order. 2. The root canal index of maxillary central incisor in woman was 0.64 in 20 years of age, 0.60 in 30 years of age, 0.50 in 40 years of age, 0.45 in 50 years of age, 0.42 in 60 years of age in the order. 3. The root canal index of maxillary canine in man was 0.71 in 20 years of age, 0.59 in 30 years of age, 0.56 in 40 years of age, 0.53 in 50 years of age, 0.51 in 60 years of age in the order. 4. The root canal index of maxillary canine in woman was 0.70 in 20 years of age, 0.67 in 30 years of age, 0.58 in 40 years of age, 0.54 in 50 years of age, 0.46 in 60 years of age in the order.
