인천광역시 초등교사의 인식을 통해 본 학교 통일교육의 방향

The Improvement of Unification Education in Incheon : From the Viewpoint of Elementary Teacher

인천은 국제공항과 항만을 지는 동북아의 관문도시이다. 동시에 하나의 서부접경지대로서 인천은 남북한 통일을 준비하는 중요한 도시이다. 일반적으로 통일은 영토적 또는 제도적 결합을 의미한다. 그러나 다른 한편으로 통합은 내적 또는 정신적 조화 그 이상을 의미하는 개념이다. 따라서 남북한의 통일이라는 개념은 통합과 통일을 모두 포함하는 개념이다. 인천 또한 이러한 통일을 위해 노력해야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 이 연구는 통일의 기본 인프라로서 인천광역시 초등학교 통일교육의 개선방향을 탐구하는데 주목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 첫째, 인천광역시 초등학교 통일교육의 실태를 살펴보고, 둘째, 인천광역시 초등학교 통일교육의 개선 방향을 제안하였다.

Incheon is a gateway to northeast asia with both international port and international airport in its hand. Simultaneously, as a border area of the western part, Incheon is the important city that make preparations for the unification in North-South Korea. On The whole, Unification means territorial or institutional combination. On the other hand, integration is more than inner or spiritual harmony. Therefore, the concept of the unification in North-South Korea includes both unification and integration. Incheon also should make an effort to this unification. From this point of view, the purpose of this study is to inquire the improvement of elementary unification education as a basic infra of unification in Incheon Metropolitan City. For this propose, firstly, this study is to analyze into the realities of elemantary unification education of Incheon. Secondly, this paper is to propose improvement of unification education.
