인천의 생활환경에 대한 인식 조사 연구

Parents Perception about the Life Environment of Inchon Metropolitan City

본 연구는 인천광역시 학부모가 생각하는 인천의 생활환경에 대한 인식을 변인별로 조사한 것이다. 720개의 설문응답지를 조사한 결과 인천광역시의 환경에 대해서 대부분의 분야에 대해 부정적 인식을 갖고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 변인별로 보면 거주지역간 차이가 뚜렷하게 나타나는 것이 중요한 발견이었다. 다른 변인들은 질문내용에 따라 달라졌지만 주로 성별로는 여자가 남자보다 다소 부정적이었으며, 경제수준이 낮을수록 더 부정적이었으며, 거주기간이 길수록, 고향출신일수록 긍정적 인식을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 인천광역시당국과 인천시민들은 인천의 생활환경에 대한 부정적 인식을 오히려 동기로 삼아 인천광역시의 생활환경을 개선하려는 정책과 시민운동을 전개해야 할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to survey the parents perception about the life environment of Inchon metropolitan city. 920 parents from 8 regions(gu) were questioned to explore their perception about the life environment of Inchon metropolitan city. The questionnaire included parents sex, living place, economic status, academic career, birth place, living duration, and perception about the life environment of Inchon metropolitan city. The questionnaire about parents perceptions are consisted of culture, political, educational, traffic services, social and natural environment, and general life environment about the Inchon metropolitan city. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: Most parents had negative perceptions about the general life environment of Inchon metropolitan city. Especially distinguished different perception was found according to living places. And higher economic status and longer living duration had positive effect on parents perception about the life environment of Inchon metropolitan city.
