창작 활동을 통한 한국음악의 언어 형성에 관하여

On the course of study in Korean music by the scale and form of the traditional children s folk song in Kyongki-Do district

Musical analysis of the traditional chidren folk song in Kyongido was reported by Kim, S. J., Park,J. K., and Yang J.M. in 1976. This research was attempted to collect and preserve the children s folk songs, and to study the way how this song will be used in the course of study for the Korean music in education. But it is a fact that this peport was studied by the view of Western music at that time. The opinion is disagreed to practical use for the studing materials of the Korean music. So I think that further examinations by the structure of the Korean music are required. This study was examined by the view of Western music. But it is necessary to examine this problem for the Korean musical language formation, so the sacle and form of traditional children s song by technique of Korean music. At that time the scale of traditional children s song was reagarded that three tone scale, made up of minor 3˚ and major 2˚, was main factor as tetrachord in Occidental. In this study, three tone scale consisted of perfect 4˚ and major 2˚, which appeared in Korean folk song and istrumental music et al, was reexamined. Moreover, through repeat and variety of tradidional children s song these were divided into, for example in Occidental songs, one part song form, two part song form, and three part song form. But in this study children s play is repeated over and over by simple movement, so I think it is natural that a simple phrase, consisted of one measure or two measure, is repeated. When one is sining continuously, he will be short of breath and he sould breathe. And it is quite natural that melody should be stopped at the time of being short of breath. The way how to fill this music gap is seemed the method of music. This gap owe to breating is filled by bravo , hei etc. in korean folk song. So it is though that dealing with the language of Korean music as solo and chorus form such as bravo and hei seemed to be available. In this study, on the basis of reexamination in scale and form of traditional children s folk songs in Koyongido district, (1) Rhythm writing by Korean rhythm, time unit in Korean Music. (2) Melody writing by the scale of traditional chilren s folk song were examined through the language formaiotn in Korean music.
